MB could have been released in the summer without any fuss and without resorting to public statements we've seen today. and babbel would have been remembered in a good light. ok so he has "needlessly headbutted a young Everton player", as you say. I agree that this is wrong. but can you claim to haven't done anyhting EVER in yr life which you later regretted? would you like being called a "disgrace" for a rash decision? i have no high horse as you say and i dont need you to tell me to grow up etc. what YOU need to do is put yourself in MB's position .... you have just overcome a terrible illness, you've just made your first team return and you are (quite rightly) taken off because you;re being skinned every time Vassell is chasing the ball.
