Personally I wanted to know why Babbel got frozen out, and now I do. I had my doubts after his pathetic strop in the worthy cup game, and now my doubts have been made reality. I also saw the reserve game where he needlessly headbutted a young Everton player. He was a disgrace to Liverpool. So get off your high horse and get a reality check. Liverpool gave Babbel a contract when they didnt know if hed play again - paying him good money in the hope that their support would help him. Babbel has since thrown it back in their faces with his pathetic public behaviour in a Worthy Cup game - showing dissent towards the Liverpool staff. Houllier gets slagged off to high heaven WHATEVER he says, and here it is again - he's been truthful and honest, saying why he's letting a player go, and he gets nomarks like you in Malta giving him crap for it. The guy has a bad enough time without this. So grow up and stop being so sensitive. It's Babbel that's let down the club, BIG TIME, with his stinking bad attitude towards his own team and the staff.
