Posted by PAUL HOULLIER TO DITCH HESKEY May 11 2003 The 25-year-old England star will be sold for £5.5million which is almost half what they paid Leicester three seasons ago. Heskey's inconsistency in front of goal has continued to trouble Gerard Houllier and growing interest from Spurs - who are prepared to meet the Merseyside club's valuation - will secure his move in the summer. Houllier has been on the trail of Kanoute for almost two seasons and is confident that West Ham will sell for about £6.5m. Even if the Hammers manage to stave off relegation, Kanoute will be on his way to Liverpool, who today play Chelsea for the final Champions League place.

ALTHOUGH NOT THE BEST NEWS FOR ME I THINK THAT HESKEY SHOULD HAVE PROVED HIMSELF BY SHOWING SOME OLD SKILLS FROM LEICESTER. HE SHOULD STILL THANK GH FOR BELIEVEING IN HIM.
