We had a great time in Vermont!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a fun and successful show everyone had! Our friends from New Jersey Ross & Sarah Kessler met us in Vermont for the week with their ponies. Ross and his pony Willow Hills 24 Karat won their first class in the modified childrens out of atleast 30! Then he placed 7th in his 2nd class and 5th in the hack. He also placed 4th in the HBO Childrens Medal! And he also catch rode Pixie Dust in the Small Pony Hunters and placed 3rd in the first over fence class!!!! His first time every doing the Smalls and riding a new pony! His sister Sarah and her pony Patchwork Narcisus did a GREAT job too. The pair was 2nd in the S/S Hunter under saddle and then 3rd and 5th over fences then they were 7th and 3rd in the s/s Eq on the flat won a trip in the S/S Eq over fences and were 3rd in the 2d trip on their way to being Reserve Champions!!!!! Again the classes were very big out of atleast 15 kids!!!! Katie did well with both Stella and Laser!!! Stella was 3rd and 5th over fences in the modified and 4th in the hack and then they were 8th in the USEF Pony medal out of lots. They had good trips in the Smalls too! Laser was amazing the pair picked up great ribbons in every Childrens Hunter over fence class which were big and competitive including 5th in the NAL Classic, Katie also WON the Symmes Medal and was 8th in a HUGE 12-14 Eq. flat class and 3rd in a Limit over fences. Nikki and Symphony did a great job too. They were 2nd in the NAL Classic, 2nd in the Symmes medal they WON BOTH trips of the Limit over fences out of atleast 35-40 riders and were Champions in the Limit Eq. Division, they placed in the Childrens Hunters over fence classes too and again the classes were HUGE!!! It was alot of fun! Can't wait to go back next year! A HUGE Thanks to Daniella Wilhelm for all of her help.
