Congrats again from Westbrook! Nikki rode beautifully in the Large Pony Hunters and picked up a couple of ribbons in the larges in good company! Both Katie and Nikki havent done the pony hunters (Nikki since FSF) and Katie since way back @ Pony Finals in a while so it was fun getting back at it! Katie rode Stella well and picked up a good hack ribbon! ALSO...Tory rode beautifully all weekend and in the Maclay warmup round today she really had a very nice trip. I was completely impressed with how well she rode around a solid 3'6" course on a horse she had only ever ridden twice before...In the Maclay Regional she was also having a very solid trip but as can and did happen with quite a few riders she just had a little misjudgement in a bending line. Again I am so proud of Tory and really enjoyed working with Technicolor he is a wonderful horse!
Just to get to Regionals was a huge accomplishemnt in itself, getting their on catch rides and accumulating all of the points so late in the season was also pretty amazing! I cannot wait for Harrisburg and NewEngland. Best wishes Tory!
