It was nice to get outside and show again finally! Despite the cooler temps and wind it was still a nice day and the horses were very good!
In the Jumpers Alissa & Alfonso picked up ribbons in the Training and Schooling Jumper classes! Nikki and Buddy also did a class in the Jumper ring for fun and went double clear! The higlight of their day came from the Pony Hunter ring were the pair placed 1st, 2nd and 2nd over fences and 4th in the Hack and picked up the Green Pony Hunter Reserve Championship (their 2nd time ever doing the pony hunters!) Nikki also gave Buddy a great ride in The USEF Pony Medal and placed 4th which was great out of a big class. The pair also picked up ribbons in the combined/Medium/Large pony hunters which was great! Katie and Stella also had a very good day. The pair won the confirmation class o/f and placed 3rd in the other two trips and 3rd in the hack. Very Good!!!
In the Main Hunter ring Alanna with Boris and Audrey with Snoopy put down some nice Childrens Hunter trips and also did the HBO class. Audrey was 2nd and 5th over fences in the childrens hunters and 4th in the HBO out of a BUNCH!!!! Alanna also got a couple of ribbons in those classes as well! In the 11&unders Katie did a nice job with laser point to ribbon in all of her classes includeing a ribbon in the SEHA mini medal. Lily Grant also made her debut with Snoopy in the Maidens and picked up a ribbbon in her 2nd trip in the very big classes of 18 riders! we were very proud of her and are looking forward to her learning alot and having fun with this great horse! I want to thank Tory and Catherine for being such excellent grooms and help! And we are very excited to have Daniella now working for us as an Assistant Trainer and thank her for all of her help too!
