Posted by Ashlee on 4/18/2006, 6:01 pm i was also looking for a project horse for the summer [kind of like how i had milo to work with last summer] if you know of anyone who has a horse that just needs to be ridden, experience, etc.. [i have samora to work with, but small cross rails are all shes going to be doing bc shes more of a trail horse]..

hi june! i found Milo a home right down the street from my house! he'll be in a family's backyard, they have 3 acers, experience with chincotigues, theyre 12 yr old daughter [who takes lessons at Dorbill now] will be riding him.. hes getting his AUTO changes great! but still needs some help... i'll have to take Samora over for a lesson, shes just been doing lots of flat work, a couple little crossrails, and been getting ridden by a girl on the bridgewater state equestrian team [she comes to ride with her instructor] Nell is finally not off when i ride her.. so i've been walking her alot.. and trotting around like twice in each direction, she has 2 years prof dressage training.. but i have no clue about dressage... 
we got another little pony [a rescue] that one of sandra's friends saw out in a field in taunton wit three minis [that her friend kept himself] apparently the old owners just left them in the field [thinking they would eat the grass] they werent fed.. didnt get their feet done... so the people that had them just told her friend that he could take the horses... so we're gona get the vet over, feed her, she does know how to trailer, stands to get brushed, knows how to lounge,etc.. so hopefully she'll make a good kids pony when shes better... she'll probably be free to a good home by the end of the summer, shes about 11 hands or so..
