Dear Julie
Thank you for your email, you need to go back to the state to file the
fiancee visa petition for your fiance first. For detailed information on
visa processing procedure, please visit our
website:www.usembassy-china.org.cn. Besides, please contact Hong Kong
consulate as you both are working in Hong Kong.
sincerely yours

I am an American citizen, residing in China. I am legally employed
as an English teacher. I am engaged to be married in May of 2004 in Hong
Kong. My fiancé is a citizen of Ghana and is also employed as an English
teacher in China. We have never been married before.
Please inform us as to how we go about obtaining
a visa for my fiancé, so
that we can return to the US. We are unsure when we would like to go,
depending upon the length of time it takes to acquire the appropriate
permission. We would like to know how much time is required to obtain a
visa, what the fees are, and what documentation we need to provide, and
where we need to go in order for this to occur.
I have previously sent this message in fax form and I have received
no reply. I sent the fax April 5, 2004. This is my second attempt to contact
the Consulate.
Please contact me at my email address: iteachchina@yahoo.com at
your earliest convenience with any pertinent information
Thank you for your assistance with this matter. Your attention to this
matter is most appreciated.
Kindes,t regards
Ms. Julie R. Pendergraft
