I predict a metal revolution within the next five years. I've seen so many people who could be called real metalheads loosing their minds over all this petty poser shit. Bands like Mudvayne, Slipknot, Nothingface, and even the well-acclaimed Fear Factory, have already started to spawn a new breed of poser metal. I am severely ashamed that Fear Factory would contribute to this, I have kept my faith, but I'm now certain they're doomed as well.
Frustrated metalheads, sick of hearing about dumb shit such as Linkin Park, are getting at that "boiling point." I, being of a calm nature, have also felt the effects. It stresses me to the point where all hope and faith are lost in the bands of now. The truth of the matter is, metal society has just placed it aside, not even once thinking of the roots that have created it. I've met people that say they like metal but hate Black Sabbath, who were after all the "godfathers of metal." It contradicts everything that has come to be known by me, and the other esteemed members of my little "True Metal Structure." As well as the rest of all the real, and I do mean REAL, metalheads.
