Posted by Chris O'Brien One station,WSOU (which broadcast out of the campus of Seton Hall University in South Orange,NJ) USED TO PLAY REALLY GOD SHIT A LONG TIME AGO (Sacred Reich,Kreator,Manowar,and other great bands)...but ever since 1998,they turned to a shit "commercial metal" station,playing garbage and nu-metal shit. Now,they hardly play ANY ####ING METAL AT ALL. I mean,at least the commercial shit might get people to check out some older,heavier bands...but now they seem to have changed into a somewhat commercial alternative/metal station. WFMU is a small free-form station,and there is only one time I know to check out anything REMOTLEY connected to metal...on Saturday nights around Midnight,some dork gets on the air and plays nothing but black metal bullshit. I mean,I am not a big fan of black metal,but at least it is something. The worst offender of them all though,is WNEW. The radio station is legendary...had alot of great jocks,and they were a rather cutting edge rock station in the 70's and 80's...but now they have become an all talk station. However,on friday and saturday nights,there is a metal show on. You would be thinking "that would make this asshole typing this happy,right?". #### NO...this guy is the absolute pits. I'd rather listen to Slipknot,Korn,SOAD,and any other lame-o rap core/ faggot shit that hear this guy talk about playing metal,but missing the mark most of the time. Granted,the guy plays Judas Priest and Iron Maiden and Anthrax...but that's preety much it. The guy plays NO UNDERGROUND POWER METAL...and almost every older band this guy plays is 80's glam faggot rock shit which never was metal and never will be,no matter how many names like hair metal that MTV and VH1 give it! I want to go down to that ####ing ststion,pop in some Nasty Savage albums,and force the ####er to sit there while Anthony and I take over the ####ing radio station. If you say you play "the best mix of hard rock and metal", then ####ING MEAN IT! GODDAMNIT...HE WILL DIE...and I will take his place and melt NYC to molten rock with the metal I'd be playing...soon Chris...soon...

Living in New Jersey,you would think that there would be a few good places to check for metal radio on the dial. Unfortunatley,there isn't shit!
