Yeah, I tried to go after that one too, but I'm on call that whole weekend. And the crappy thing about it is, no one at work is willing to switch weekends with me. --Previous Message-- : Why not the june 2nd USAPL state meet : also in San Antonio? Thats only like : 2 weeks away from your original : plans. I'm aiming for that one with : the bench record in mind. : --Previous Message-- : Boy did I want to lift in Tom's : Meet, : but I could'nt find a baby sitter : for the whole day, so I aimed for : San Antonio. Grandma will be taking : care of my lil' monster. : : --Previous Message-- : : --Previous Message-- : Alright now fellas, how does anyone : out there adjust their training : schedule when the meet I've been : training for is cancelled? I am on a : 12 week cycle to the May 19th meet : in San Antonio,(Lackland) and things : don't look very good at all. I guess : I'll shoot for the WABDL meet on : July 14th by Tiny Meeker. But how do : you adjust WITHOUT OVER TRAINING? : It's gonna be very disapointing not : to lift on the 19th for max, because : I've been very happy with my lifts : in the gym. (I'm after my personal : lifts only, because there's no way : on Gods' green earth I'll ever catch : up to the record breakers or real : heavy lifters) Anyway, have a good : one guys! : : When the meet looked like it was : going to be cancelled, you should : have lifted a week early in Tom's : meet... You can probably still get : a late entry in, you just might have : to wait for your trophy... : : : : :
