Guard Director Wanted: - Experienced colorguard instructor desired for Westwood HS in Round Rock, TX (just north of Austin). Must have experience with colorguard & winterguard. Dance & DCI experience is a plus, but not required. Colorguard has a separate class period during the school day. This person will accompany the staff and 300+ band members at football games & various contests. Responsibilities include helping choreograph the marching show & leading the winterguard show, flag/costume design, teaching flag, weapons, & dance technique, choreographing routines, & recruitment. We are looking for someone to start in June for summer camp activities and help shape a young group of 20+ new guard members with opportunity to build and shape the program to their personal standards.
