Bitterly cold northern Ontario night.
So cold that the first breath you take cuts into your lungs like a knife.
You gasp, push your mouth down and suck the warm air trapped in your coat and tighten your hood.
You push your mouth over the neck of the hood and take a little cold air mixed with your body warmth.
