I’ve spoken to two of the prospects for the manager’s job. One said he would not have been able to work in the new Arlesey set-up as there was obviously going to be too much interference from above and the management structure was top-heavy. The other was more blunt and said “only an idiot would take the job”!
As I said in a previous posting, I have a number of business commitments this coming week in various parts of the country and the following two weeks I will be driving along the eastern seaboard of the USA zig-zagging inland here and there visiting all the New England states. So you probably will not be hearing from me so often, but I will try to keep up to date with what is happening. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend the meeting on Thursday, but someone has very kindly offered to text me with the news.
