Understand that the five man "select" committee that decided Matty's fate included a member of the ladies team and a member of the youth setup. Can anybody tell me how many games the pair of them have watched this season, and what credentials they possess to decided a very decent bloke's future ? Rumour has it that players had already been shown around the Club by "the King" prior to yesterday's decision, with offers of ridiculous sums (£200 -£400 pw plus win bonuses)being mentioned. If there is any truth in these rumours then this surely can only be a short term fix and eventually the Club will end up as another Barton Rovers...God forbid. Well, I just hope that any new kit or equipment that the ladies and youth may receive from their decision is worth the sleepless nights.
