on a cold day after an incredible performance against Bury Town the enourmous away support of perhaps 30 or so far out weighed the home support at rothwell town were excpecting much the same.
mmmmmmmmm, ok apart from 1 shot from jamie that hit the post and the rebound the luke hit the bar with and rothwells goal, sod all happened, hung over it felt from the stands , the Rothwell keeper was never brought into play , and believe yoiu me , he was crap!
2nd half, much like Bury match, Matt put rocket up the lads arses and they came out fighting , early corner turned in by Jamie showed how bad there keeper was, with jonny frost in full voice and niggling the keeeper we were half way home, attack after attack saw pringle hit the back of the net from 2 yards and his goal celebration was worth it as he stood on the stands and we piled in on him lol!!, there aint no better feeling when the players appreciate the support
with 20 minutes left we seemed to take our foot off the gas, having had opportunity after opportunity to finish them off,with 2 minutes left they scored to level the game, off side or what!!. a blind linesman, but a great trip and great to be appreciated by the team.
