Just to let everyone know i have arranged for a Benefit game to be played a date to be agreed with the Club for Paul sometime February 2009.I have asked Nicky Ironton to get a squad in place for this game in which also i will do the same.The squads will be made up of players that Paul enjoyed playing with over the years.We will be looking at local advertising,media coverage possibly 3 counties and chiltern radio coverage and we will be speaking to businesses for kind donations.We will also try and organise a small sided 7 a side Under 10s game with a team from Bedford against a Sandy Under 10s side.All the fund raising proceeds will be donated to Paul on the day.I am getting together with personnel from the Club so we can get all the organising sorted.It would be appreciated if anyone has any good ideas on the fund raising side and if you could be good enough to post your valid comments on this site.I am going to visit Paul this Thursday at Stoke Mandeville hospital obviously after Pauls operation Tuesday.I will sending everybodies regards in wishing what we hope is a speedy recovery.
