It's difficult to determine age without the pattern and manufacturer identified. However, the two sherds have design elements that are commonly found in the 1840s (stylized castle in the background, people standing next to a water body, elm-like trees in the foreground, etc). Keep in mind that some transferprint patterns that originated in the early to mid 19th century persisted for decades to the late 19th century and even early 20th century. The sherds have the appearance of exposure to burning. There's no scale in the picture, but my first hunch is that these might be pieces to a panelled tea/coffee cup. If I had to guess, I would put it as made in Staffordshire during the mid 1840s to mid 1850s.
