Rural scene with shepherd & shepherdess Posted by Carol Bergeron on March 28, 2012, 9:28 pm I have this plate with a shepherd and shepherdess and building and water-which I could not find on the database. I do not recognise it and can find no other example of this border in Snyder although I have not had time to search all of the reference books. The wide border suggests that the pattern may have been a part of a larger pattern. It is not Girl Musician as suggested in the correspondence.

Did you intend to post this about the previous post of the bowl with the horse and sheep, because this stand sure looks like Girl Musician to me. The bowl I would agree appears to be an unrecorded pattern and I have also been unable to find it anywhere as yet.

It is in the database and has these features recorded for it:3 figures on river bank Cows Flageolet Foliage Girl playing flageolet Group of 3 figures House (country) Man (kneeling) Manor house (country) River Rocks in stream Sheep Waterfall for search purposes.
