Hello again, I have one more item that I cannot identify. It is a possible Victorian plate, measuring 15" in diameter, weighs 2 lbs, and is in a brass hanging frame. It is signed C Vsomething, M and dated 1879 as is the brass frame. I have given image to webmaster and she usually posts by Thursday. Thank You

Dennis, most of our members specialize in 19th century English transferware. This is not transferware; looks like some sort of Studio or "Art" Pottery to me.

David, One of your members who checked out my staffordshire, suggested I put this and another item out to see if anyone had any information on them. Just hoping to find out a little more on them.
Dennis I think we need a reality check. You have not listed or shown any Staffordshire pieces here? The pieces you are displaying are not 19th Century British transfer printed wares, which is what this board is all about. You may get an opinion or view, as we try to be helpful, but frankly what you are showing has no relevance here and you would be better served finding a website or message board more suited to the pieces you have. Not being unfriendly, but don't ask a plumber to do your electrical wiring, it sort of doesn't work. You may well end up with a short circuit.

Sometimes a plumber knows more than just being a plumber!!
