I ploughed through them some years ago in connection with blue-printed design registration marks and published them in Appendix C of the "True Blue" FOB exhibition catalogue in 1998. I looked at Appendix C in my copy of TRUE BLUE, and thank you for mentioning that. I am confused as to the meaning of 2.9.41 concerning Boston Mails. Does that mean Sept. 2, 1841? I love TRUE BLUE. Also our researcher did herself proud in WICA's ironstone research she conducted at the Archives for the club last summer. We are planning a power point and a DVD for our convention members -- convention to be held in York, PA April 28 -May 1, 2011. Again, thank you. Jane

WICA is thinking about hiring a private researcher to collect info on British produced white ironstone, both collecting written work as well as copies or pictures of engravings, drawings, etc. of registered ironstone patterns. Can anyone recommend a researcher to do this work for WICA at Kew? All suggestions valued and thanks. Jane

He is very familiar with the Design Registration records etc and we have found him quick and accurate and he uses his initiative (but not to the extent of splashing your money around needlessly). Jane and I have found that Dennis Woodman actually died earlier this year, so if anybody else is tempted to contact him, please don't! His website however remains up and running, which is confusing.
