Hi Dominic, Your pattern is part of a series of Irish scenes. As a matter of fact, Hibernia is the classical Latin name for Ireland. John Wedge Wood(1841-1860)took advantage of the famous Wedgwood factory. The mark presents the name as Wedg.Wood, and unless you are checking carefully, you might think you were buying a item from Wedgwood. We have two patterns in this series listed in the TCC pattern database, and would appreciate seeing your 9.5 inch plate. It is possible that we will be able to identify the scene, as the patterns are based on real places. You say the border is pink. What is the color of the center of your plate. Coincidentally, the pattern of the month for November, that appears on the home page of the TCC website, will be the 8 inch plate in this series. Judie
