According to the TCC Database, Brunswick Star dates from around 1835 and is documented in brown, purple and green, with (sometimes) overglaze colors, as well.
Thanks David. Do you know how long this pattern was produced? Both of my dishes are in excellent condition and have no surface scratches. They belonged to my grandmother (and perhaps her grandmother).
Well, others are much more informed on this than I, but it is likely that the production was limited to just a few years, at most, although sometimes other makers took over production of a particular pattern.
