| Early Alton Towers Plate "Mayer & Kl????

I have a beautiful old plate that has stumped me for years. I would just love to know the age and maker. It has an orange and gold border with a colored transferware pic and on the back it reads, THE MONASTERY, ALTON TOWERS and an impressed mark the reads MAYER & KLE???? Any ideas on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks, Rod
