Geoffrey Godden shows three marks used by T. Rathbone & Co. on p. 521 in ENCYCLOPAEDIA OF BRITISH POTTERY AND PORCELAIN MARKS, two of which do not have the word England. The company was only in business c. 1898-1923, so we would assume all of their products made for export would include the country of origin. The first mark with a crown and garter has the word "Tunstall", the town in Staffordshire where it was located. The swan mark seen here is dated c. 1912+, and another mark with the words T. R. & Co. and ENGLAND surrounding a swan is dated c. 1919-23.
