Ashworth &Bros, Staffordshire, UK 1862 to 1890. I think the Bros. bought the molds from Frances Morley. I have the same marking you do on a teapot and researched it extensively on free and membership based porcelain marks sites. I believe we hold something rare. Francis Morley also took on a partner, and may have changed his mark at that time. Your piece goes back to around 1850.  Post a Response

I have the same markings on a teapot. I have searched everywhere, and even belong to a markings research site and that mark is not to be found. I think it is 1845 to 1855 and very rare.  Post a Response
