| Phillips Platter Pastoral(?)

I am trying to help my aunt get some information about a platter she purchased many years ago. The marking on the back, which is impressed with no color, has the word Phillips above a sideways figure eight, half of which has a double line. Underneath is the word Longport, and the N is backwards. It has three sets of three stilt marks on the bottom and three individual stilt marks on the top. My aunt indicates that the stilt marks are one way to judge the date of a piece. The pattern seems to be the Pastoral pattern, judging from the pictures I've seen on the internet. I am aware of the maker E &G Phillips, but I haven't seen any examples of an impressed mark like the one on her platter. Plus, I think it's odd that the "N" is backwards in the impression. The platter does appear to be very old - the finish is not as smooth as one might expect. My question is whether the impression on the back suggests that it is a fake. Also, if it is a Phillips piece, we'd be curious to know the date. Thanks for any help anyone can provide! Barb Murphy
