J & W Handley Village Fisherman and Ponte Molle Posted by Mollie Hosking on September 16, 2008, 3:05 pm 90.242.100.157 Dick Henry Wood states in his Dictionary Volume 1 that a marked plate J & W Handley,with Village Fisherman of this pattern has been reported from the USA. In Volume 2 he states that a marked plate of Ponte Molle has also been reported.If any one can give me information concerning the whereabouts of these marked wares I would be most grateful. There is documentary evidence that they aslo made Willow and Wild Rose. Thank you  Post a Response

You can find them by entering the pattern name or by the maker: J & W Handley. Both patterns are shown on platters. Those are the only two patterns by Handley in the database at present.  Post a Response

I assume that the two platters belong to him. The photos are of actual pieces or they wouldn't be in the database.  Post a Response
