Hello Kelly, We truly would better be able to identify your platter if you were to send us images of both the face and back of your brown platter. This was suggested in our TCC Administrator's 9/13/08 reply to your query. From the minimal information available in your message, the best we can offer without these images is the year the RD No pattern number was registered: 1889. The initials "T.F & S." are contained in at least two Staffordshire pottery marks, both used in this time frame by Thomas Forester & Sons. In the same period, Thomas Furnival & Sons may also have use these initials in their mark. Sorry that this is only conjecture. Some marks are indeed, hard to read. An image could well allow us to figure out what the pattern name actually is.
