Hi Barbara. This plate is from Wedgwood's Blue Rose Border series, which was introduced in 1824 and made for many years after that. Coysh & Henrywood's Dictionary discusses and pictures several views in the series but not this one. The views that have been identified are British but several are unknown. Wedgwood employed a three letter date code on some of their later 19th century pieces - if this plate has that it will give you the date it was potted. Len
