Ulrich, this set of dinnerware would appear to be earlier than you think. Examples of this pattern in the database are attributed to Ralph Wedgwood, who potted in Burslem, Staffordshire, 1790-1798 and used the Wedgwood& Co. mark. We have four examples of this pattern, all with this daisy border but with different classical scenes and given the name Classical Figures with Daisy. The classical figures are also seen with a different border. What do you know of the history of your grandparents' set?
