My wife recently came across a plate she liked and purchased.
It is approximately 81/2 inches in diameter with on the outside edge a rope border in green. Inside that is a wreath of oak leaves and acorns again in green and in the middle is a picture of a ship at sea - (think hms victory) and below this a banner bearing the word Greenwich also in green.
On the back the stamp is illegible but there is a mark which can best described as a number 16 with a v under the six, or a 91 with an inverted v over the nine.
If I can figure out how I will try to post an image. If anyone has an idea of a maker or name for the plate it would be appreciated and I may get a bit of piece and quiet.
Thank you all
Wayne
