The company Livesley Powell and Co. were one of the Hanley
Stoke on Trent area potteries between 1851 and 1866. After that Livesley retired and they became Powell and Bishop, Bishop being the lawyer who had initially financed the other two. As far as I can tell, their most popular patterns were Abbey, Paradise and India I believe.
If you happen to come across anything about other marble patterns by these guys please let me know.
PS : it's fun but annoyingly mysterious! I think I've started a new hobby! Haha
