One of our members acquired this 6.25 inch tall light blue transfer pitcher which bears the view known as La Fayette at Franklin's Tomb. At first I thought it might be the one that is mentioned in Arman as made by Mayer, but that view on a waste bowl is very dark blue like the Enoch Wood pieces. The pitcher has a floral upper border and strangly is ringed with embossed scallop shells at the collar and at the base. Does anyone have an idea who made this unusual piece?
