Your Copeland bowl is somewhat of an oddity. There are many patterns complete without the color filled in; however, this one does look better with color. You can see a colored Chinese Rose pattern platter in Smith's SPODE & COPELAND on p. 141. It is a 20th century pattern, and that particular platter is dated to c. 1952. The Rd. No. indicates that the pattern was registered in 1913. The pattern number 2/9253 is dated 1931 which would have been the date it was first produced by Copeland. The dates for pattern numbers from the Copeland period are given by Robert Copeland on p. 121 in SPODE & COPELAND MARKS, 2nd edition. You have a nice useful bowl!
