Hi Amanda,
As you probably know DAVENPORT Ltd went bankrupt in 1887 and every thing was sold, copper plates and most importantly the pattern books.
To date none of the pattern books have ever been located. We have a partial list of named copper plates which were auctioned in 1887 plus named patterns on extant pieces.
In addition, although the potters had some means of identifying the patterns to be transfer printed, often the pattern name was not included on the object. Possibly the name was not included on the copper plate or the additional time expended in cutting out and adding the name was not warranted in a piece work operation.
Sorry not to be of much help.
Frank Davenport.
