From my list of favorite Transferware patterns:
ETRUSCAN VASES, Mayer & Elliott, c. 1858-1861 (Gildea and Walker was a later version of this company, due to a succession of mergers and takeovers and also made this pattern)
This plate is very rare as the company only manufactured the design for three years. Marks include the words Etruscan Vases and the Mayer & Elliott markings.
