Thanks Len. I will get back into the database and have a look. I am especially curious about "Franklin's Moral Pictures." Is the "Franklin" in question Benjamin? Perhaps this illustrates, "No use crying over spilt milk?"
That bit of advice takes on a whole different complexion when you think of the spilled milk coming from a bucket that you just filled by hand! The only time that pharse has been quoted around our house (at least when literal) has been when a kid tipped over a cup of milk. At which point it has been wiped up with a paper towel and a new cup poured from the fridge!
Anybody want to weigh in on that platter that I am guessing was hand painted? I think they did sometimes hand paint piece that were transfer printed... Thanks again.
