Hi, My name is Jim. I'm doing some research for my mother. She purchased a set of Windsor Ware dinner plates and saucers back in the 70's at a garage sale. The story she got at the time was, these plates etc., were made for Mimi Eisenhour's Mother of the year- Awards Banquet. She was told the rest of the set is in the Dwight D. eisenhour Museum. The dishes have turkey's on them. They all have different water marks on the back. Some are called Wild Turkey's Native American. Some are called Turkey's in flight. She did contact Johnson Brothers/Windsor Wares. They told her that after this set was made they destroyed the mold. There was only one set made. Is this True? Is any of this story true? Is there any info you can give me on these dishes? She gave me a Serial # off one of them-174050
Thanks for your Help! JIM
