Thanks for you reply, however I'm 100% convinced the pattern is the same as John Wedg Woods's Geneva and not Rhine. Rhine's one of the most common found in archaeological sites here, and there are differences in the border design that are subtle, but definite. I also think enough of the castle is present to show it's the same central pattern as John Wedge Wood's Geneva. Of course, whether this manufacturer B.W. & Co. called it Geneva or Rhine is unclear as the pattern name is the missing link, and now the rest of the site is under a shopping complex. At least it's a decent sized sherd, unlike most of them we have to deal with! Thanks.
