Hi
I was wondering if anybody can shed any light on this. I have a plate in the Geneva pattern, (archaeological sample) - it is the same as that identified on the TCC website as being made by John Wedg Wood. The garter mark on the back is also the same, aside from the mark reading B.W. & Co. on the ribbon. It looks like the pattern name ends with a NE, suggesting this maker changed the name (shame I can't find the rest of it). Given it's the same design as John Wedg Wood's, I'm thinking this must be Buckley Wood & Co. (1875-1885 in Godden)and there must have been a relationship between the two Wood's, but can't find any reference to this. Can anyone help? I know this is obscure but there may be a Wood expert out there. Thanks
