Peter - This is a pattern that was was used by J&R Clews on dinner service wares in the 1820's. It is illustrated on p97 in Gillian Neale's "Encyclopedia of British Transfer-Printed Pottery Patterns 1790-1930" on a plate and a tureen stand, where it is called "Fruit & Flowers".
Like Pat, I also saw it on the cover of Jeffrey Snyder's book "Romantic Staffordshire Ceramics" but found no reference to it inside the book!
