Hi Everyone: Thanks for the kind words. I was not sure if it was the way I had asked the question or they were just hard to find items. I was told these were early pieces when I got them. The bowl came with a bunch of Wallis Gimson "Garfield" pieces I bought. It is not from that pattern. Too bad the mark on the plate is so fuzzy. I will find it in time. It will fall into my lap one day. Have any of you folks tried to clean transferware. Is it a good idea or is leaving it as is best. Thanks again, Fred
