Pat and I have discussed this item as I asked for photos showing the lower part of the pattern. The closest I can come is that it resembles Conversation #3 entry in the database -- the saucer in the Additional Image spot. The line engraving is similar to that of the teapot although the borders are different. The pattern dates to c. 1800 in my opinion, but I have no opinion on who the maker might be. Perhaps someone else will. Unmarked early Chinoiserie patterns are difficult to attribute.
