Hai Andrew, thank you very much for your information. I really appreciate your effort.
It is really nice to know more about the pottery, because it was such long time in my house and thas of my brother (who passed away) not really paying attention to it. I wil treasure it and find it symbolic in a way. One of my hobby's is genealogie and I found out that via my mother's side (generations ago) we have the Scottisch line. The familyname is Canty (in Dutch now: Kentie) and the forefather was in the army here (Scottisch department that still excist) under captain Mac Crabeth or so. Anyway the Canty familie is from the Moray area.
Anyway thas was some background. Nice to hear that Holland is familiar to you. I am living in Dordrecht (also a lot of water around like in Amsterdam) but life have changed a lot since 1970 as you ofcourse are aware and also must have changed in England. Thanks again and my greetings, Janneke van Andel
