Hello,
Can anyone help me identify this Mintons platter? It is 15" in diameter, coach profile, with an image of four children playing. A small boy is on a swing tied between two trees. Behind him, a young girl in a hat is pulling a rope tied to the swing. Below her are two more children, a boy and a girl, playing with a dog. This is all surrounded by a border of mixed flowers in a repeat pattern, running to a thin solid dark blue edge. It is stamped on the back with the Minton's mark and has an impressed swan image (1895-1900, I think), a heart, the number 51 and an impression reading Mintons over a large LS. My mother purchased it ata n estate sale 40 years ago. No one I've shown it to seems to be able to identify the pattern. I love the image of frolicking children...I just wish I knew what to call it.
Any help you might be able to offer would be greatly appreciated. I can send jPegs, if you wish...I just don't know how to turn them into URLs.
Thanks!
Richard
