Thank you, Harriett for your kind words. I really do understand the frustration you express. Don't let it deter you, though, from continuing to dig. Every once in a while you come across something that makes all the waiting and all the frustration seem insignificant. (It is a wonderful feeling to find connections to your family's past -- especially when it is more than just names and dates).
