My grandmother was Ethel Katherine Tormey. She was born in 1887, and she married Martin A. Murray in 1910 at Scott Depot, WV. Ethel’s parents were John B. Tormey (b. April 13, 1844/d. March 18, 1926) and Mary A. Markham.

I am trying to trace the ancestors of John B. Tormey, and I would greatly appreciate any information you may have. I have some notes from my grandmother which indicate that John’s father was Michael Tormey. The notes also state that Michael had brothers named Thomas and William.

I have a lot of information about the children of John and Mary Tormey (and some info on descendants of Thomas), which I would be happy to share with you.
