Re: Towns Tormey and Selby
The lead refinery was located on the flat landscape that projects into San Pablo Bay. The bulk of the refinery was located in Selby with the "time" office across the tracks from what might be left of a parking lot. The part of the flat landscape on the Rodeo side is the flattened slag dump. Tormey, as you know, was a company town for the smelter workers.
