I believe TOP is and can be a fun tourney. Yes, it is a pain when people or events or circumstances make it hard for a host to do his/her job, but you know, we do the best we can and go on with it. But from what I have seen, nothing to me indicates that TOP is going anywhere.
Negativity breeds more negative things.
Blessings beget blessings.
That's how it all works, and the only person anyone can control is themselves. When I host or play I try to have fun and hope it's contageous. Some nights it's hard not to succumb to the dark side, but hey we've all been there.
Those of us who still want TOP to continue will do all we can to do so. The news of TOP's impending death are greatly exaggerated. What Melinda may or may not think about things is really irrelevant since none of us can speak for her, and she isn't here to speak for herself. Losing two hosts over a night when the server was unstable (not a TOP issue nor under the control of the TOP host) put Lee and the tourney in a bind that is being worked out, and perhaps it will take a little longer to work things out, but it will be.
I see no need to try to discourage Lee from continuing the tourney, as he has support from me and others to keep it going and to overcome the latest obstacles. Let's not shoo away the players with talk of TOP ending, please.
Play on!
